Alternative Lima Walking Experience
Lima is a fascinating city, the only capital in South America facing the ocean, is also a multicultural city. The Mercado Central, not far from the Barrio Chino (Chinatown), is a treasure trove for clothing, fabrics and crafts. The ambience is unique and the alleys are packed from morning till night. However should you fail to find your hearts desire, head for the multitude of shops that line the surrounding lanes, but beware, it is a bewildering tangle where it is all too easy to get lost.
The idea of a tour like this, is to do it, as locals they do. So, pick up from hotel, taking local transportation, go to downtown area, there is lots of information to provide while walking along central market, lot to see, lot to enjoy. we will walk through Chinatown to arrive to Plaza de Armas, this plaza also have lots of information to provide , then just to finish we will walk along Jiron de la Union, to arrive to plaza San martin, then taking local transportation or taxis, we will head back to your hotel.
