Museums and Tapas in Pueblo Libre
Pueblo Libre is one of the different districs of Lima, in spanish the meaining its name which means free town or free people, was granted by Libertador Jose de San Martin as a recognition of the patriotism shown by its inhabitants during the Peruvian war of independence. Now Pueblo Libre, host two of the best museums in town, The Arqueological and Larco Museums have the most artifcts and definetly give you a perspective of Incan and Pre Hispanic art..
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to Museo Larco, have a tour at the museum, after that keep walking to Queirolo tavern, one of the oldest bars in Lima, for an included taste of different wines, we will introduce you to Peruvian food tasting a mix of Tapas. After this, keep your tour to the Arqueological museum, in front of the plaza, part of this builiding is where our Libertador used to live. This experience takes about 5hours, so you will be back to your hotel.
